ITEP Professional Development
Our goal is to assist in the professional development and exchange of information for tribal environmental staff to enhance the operations and performance outcomes of Tribal environmental management programs. We strive to achieve this by providing training, resources,
and networking opportunites in a broad range of environmental management topics with accomplished trainers and experienced tribal staff.
ITEP offers several options for tribal professional development, including:
- in-person training
- online training (both live and on-demand)
- professional conferences
- mentoring and technical assistance
- archived webinars, conference recordings, and video libraries
- technical documents and reports, handbooks, brochures, and fact sheets

AirKnowledge is a partnership training program in EPA’s Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS). AirKnowledge develops training material to assist EPA, tribal, state, and local air agency staff in implementing aspects of the Clean Air Act managed through OAQPS.
